![]() Avid can't assign buttons that windows won't show it. mine says logitech gaming mouse g500 instead of hid compliant mouse. To check if your windows really sees your mouse for what it is, and not a standard one, check devices under the devices and printers heading in the windows start menu. ![]() Mouse driver and setpoint software are usually the same and available for download at the logitech site. Though that particular ability also works through the avid software itself now, placing the red and yellow arrows from the command palette (under tools) on the mouse layout (under settings) It may be that you only have to install the driver of your mouse for avid to recognize the abilities. NOTE: If you do not have SetPoint installed, you can download it from the MK300 Downloads Page. Choose the mouse button you want to customize in the Select Button field. Select your mouse from the product drop-down menu at the top left. Click the My Mouse tab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window. You must have the Logitech mouse and keyboard software installed for your particular combination of mouse / keyboard. So in my case I told mouse button 4 and 5 to behave like both segment modes. Launch SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings). Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings. Along with most Logitech hardware there is software (in my case it is called setpoint, but it varies depending on your controller) which allows your to build macro's and set buttons on your mouse or keyboard.
